1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Acceby, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Acceby for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modifying or copying the materials
  • Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempting to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, or proprietary techniques of any software contained on Acceby
  • Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
  • Transferring, distributing, or "mirroring" the materials to another person or server
  • Duplicating, reproducing, or creating derivative works of Acceby's software or services
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Acceby's systems, data, or restricted areas
  • Redistributing Acceby or its functionality without explicit written permission from Acceby

The materials on Acceby are provided on an 'as is' basis. Acceby makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

4. Software Functionality and Risk Acceptance

By using Acceby, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with connecting your accounting platforms and eBay account. You understand that:

  • Acceby only reads data from eBay via the Finance Transactions and Trading API scopes and does not write or modify data on eBay
  • Acceby may synchronize or process data with your connected accounting platforms based on the permissions you grant
  • While Acceby is designed to only read from eBay, in rare or unlikely circumstances, unforeseen issues or errors could potentially result in unintended changes to your accounting data or connected platforms
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining regular backups of your accounting data and financial records
  • You assume all risk and responsibility for the consequences of using Acceby to manage your accounting data

5. Limitations

In no event shall Acceby or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Acceby, even if Acceby or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

6. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on Acceby could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Acceby does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Acceby may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice.

7. Links

Acceby has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Acceby of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

8. Modifications

Acceby may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Acceby operates, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

10. Third-Party API Integrations

Acceby integrates with third-party services through their APIs, including eBay, Xero, and QuickBooks. When you authorize these integrations:

  • You grant Acceby permission to access your data on these platforms
  • Acceby may store, process, and analyze your data from these services
  • API keys are stored securely on Acceby servers only; user tokens and connection information are retained in the app for convenience
  • You are responsible for maintaining valid API credentials and revoking access when needed
  • Acceby is not responsible for changes made directly in the third-party platforms
  • Each third-party service has its own terms of service and privacy policy, which you are responsible for reviewing
  • Acceby acts as a data processor and facilitator between your eBay account and your accounting software
  • For eBay integrations, Acceby requests access to the Finance Transactions API and Trading API scopes only, using OAuth 2.0 and eBay's Auth'n'Auth API access protocols to securely authenticate and retrieve your transaction and listing data

11. User Accounts

If you create an account on Acceby, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
